Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate withdrawal of the clogged copying material by forming the conveying path of copying materials with the transfer part, separating part and conveying part in an integral structure and separating the photoreceptor and this integral structure when the clogging of the copying material, etc. occurs. CONSTITUTION: A copying material 2, delivered out by a paper feed roller 3, is electrostatically transferred with the toner images on a photosensitive drum 7 by a transfer charger 9-1 and is separated from the photosensitive drum 7 by a separating destaticizer 9-2. It is then transferred by a conveying belt 9-3, suction duct 9-4 and is discharged into a discharge tray 13 after having been fixed with a fixing device 11. When a trouble such as jam or the like occurs during conveying of the copying material 2, the integral constitution unit 9 consisting of the transfer charger 9-1, separating charger 9-2, conveying belt 9-3, suction duct 9-4 is pulled out by sliding a round stay 9-5 on the rail provided to the machine bottom, whereby the copying material having caused jam may be readily withdrawn to the outside of the machine.
